From Left to Right
To empower women globally, transforming ourselves within. Positively impacting the world through trusting, caring, lasting friendships. We are a loving, courageous, and inspirational sisterhood filled purpose, integrity and heart. A diverse group of women of all ages and backgrounds who have come together to build loyal and trusting friendships, learn together, inspiring greatness in one another, and by being positive role models effectively contributing in our communities in ways that matter to us.
To make the world a happier place, one woman at a time through relationships, education, compassion, and leading by example.
Ladies In Power is made up of loving, powerful women committed to making a difference in our communities. This foundation will raise money, partner with, and give back to, local charities. We are creating our own programs and will offer summer and winter scholarships to help children ages 6-18 from less fortunate circumstance have a chance to play sports, plant and harvest a garden, learn social skills and even have access to financial education with qualified speakers and successful business leaders from our community. We want to teach things like the value of a dollar, how money works, the importance of saving, getting your first job and continuing education in what matters to them. Our vision is to find ways to educate and empower our youth and ultimately help break the cycle of generational poverty.
Ladies In Power , was founded by Meeka Caissie, “I see a desire for women to have real connection with each other (myself included!), to develop safe, lasting friendships without superficial judgment and drama and have purpose. Many of us have friends simply because we live near each other or went to school or work together and may not have the same passions, interests or dreams of making the world a better place. I wanted to build a place where women could come together and create friendships with other women based on common goals like wanting to be better, happier and be supportive of each other on those journeys all while helping others that may not have it so great. We are so excited about the difference we are making together because we truly are making the world a better place one woman at a time!”
